She is an American Classical pianist. At the age of 4, she started playing the piano and taking formal lessons with the blessing of her mother and the full encouragement and support of her father. Recognized as a child prodigy, she made her debut at the age of 9 with the grand prize in Dong A Piano Competition, one of the most prestigious music competitions in Korea. Her early accomplishment led her to higher academic courses in music. She already achieved many performance careers of more than 15 recitals and chamber music concerts, including the grand prize at the National performing piano competition at the age of 15. She was acclaimed by both press and public as a pianist who “mesmerizes the audience with her exquisite mastery of technique combined with her power of expression.”
She started her post graduate work at Manhattan School of Music. Where under the direction of professor Dalmo Carra, she earned her degrees of Master of Music and D.M.A (Doctor of Musical Arts). During the period of Manhattan, she continued her appearances at dozens of solo recitals. She was at the peak of her career by performing a solo recital at Carnegie Hall, a performance which endorsed her fame as a pianist. Solo disc, featuring works of Beethoven, Prokofieff, Schumann, Bach, Debussy and Chopin, contains five original pieces of her Solo recital performances at Carnegie Hall.
